Description:
The Sanskrit word "Om" or "Aum" is the sacred vibration
of the universe. "Mani" refers to "jewel" and the Sanskrit
word "Padme" refers to "lotus". This sacred chant reflects
the awakening of the soul to absolute awareness of the Universal Self within us all. This Sanskrit chant is commonly
used by Buddhists/Tibetans.
This single release chant is a little (well, okay, a lot) different from our usual kirtan chants, as it's shorter (just under 4 minutes long), it's chanted as a group (not kirtan call-and-response style), and it's got a little heavier bass and drums. We've been rocking to it since it was first produced in 2002, and we decided it was finally time to release it!
