Our little evenings of kirtan by the open fire used to
remind me of my days with Swamiji. I'm in black on the
left with with harmonium, Tapasvi Baba (with his perennial
smile!) is in front of the fire, and Dale is taking this photo.
Every night more and more people came to see Babaji
and joined us for kirtan. The tabla wala was the most
incredible tabla wala I'd ever played with-- turns out he
was from Bollywood and had done numerous films. We
would come home from our walks in the evening and hear
the sounds of his tabla resounding through the jungles,
calling us home. Those were beautiful days! I was
remembering Swamiji in my every waking moment!
