Here I am repairing some of the kirtan mats for our kirtan hall on the grounds of the Rishikesh ashram.
In front of me was the ever-flowing Ganga River-- beautiful! See the man in the shadows on the left?
That's Dr. Clarke-- he used to do these amazing things-- he was helping get the hospital programs set up,
lecturing, preparing dozens of documents and official stuff, barely sleeping but a few hours a night, meditating
for hours, and reading 500-page books for pleasure! Sometimes I'd find him dozing over the copy machine
while his copies were being made! And I was only stitching those mats...
