The magical days in the studio with these incredible musicians was the culmination of years of dreaming. When I returned from India with Swamiji in the spring of 1992, I knew I was returning to America to complete this dream of kirtan before returning for good to beloved India. In my heart I knew it was the work I had to do. And finally in 2002, we began the recordings of these kirtan albums, bringing these ancient chants to life... Here are just a few of our studio photos...

__________________________________ Yoga: Mastering the Basics (Yoga International) Visit Yoga: Mastering the Basics at Amazon.com In the early 2000's Yoga International began the photo shoots for their award-winning book, Yoga: Mastering the Basics. That was hard work! I have a deep respect for what professional artists must endure during these photo shoots. It was an incredible learning experience-- watching the photographer and the incredible professional digital camera set up that he had. Despite the chilly studio and cement floor (and a few bruises later!), we made it through 1000's of shots and they created an incredible book for yoga basics, for beginners and advanced practitioners as well.
